The principle of the new high-efficiency catalytic oxidation device is to utilize strong oxidant hydrogen peroxide to catalytically oxidize organic pollutants in wastewater at room temperature and pressure, in the presence of activated carbon as an efficient catalyst. This process oxidizes large molecular organic pollutants into water and carbon dioxide, improving the biodegradability of wastewater and effectively removing organic pollutants. The specific degradation process is as follows: organic pollutants containing azo groups, nitro groups, sulfide groups, and carbamate groups in the wastewater are acted upon by strong oxidants, breaking the double bonds in the organic molecules and achieving decolorization, while effectively increasing the BOD/COD ratio and enhancing the biodegradability of the wastewater.
